Welcome! I’m Russell Robinson, and I’ve been into photography since I was a kid. In the ’70’s and ’80’s, my parents let me take snapshots with their Minolta Pocket Camera, Kodak Instamatic, and Polaroid instant cameras. (My mom never let me touch her “Brownie” though!) In the 90’s I got myself a little Olympus Centurion film camera, and in the 2000’s I shot with a couple of point-n-shoot digital cameras. For the last several years I’ve shot with Nikon and Canon DSLRs.
I’m always online, learning and researching about cameras and photography techniques. I built this site to jot down things I’ve learned along the way.
I’m always adding new posts to my site, so check back every once in a while for more content! If you’ve got a question for me, feel free to drop me a comment, or shoot me an email!
What Does “KewlTek” Mean?
I’ve been a computer guy, photographer, and media creator for decades, and I admit, I’m a technology geek. I think tech is cool. “KewlTek” is just a fun way to say, “Cool Tech”.
Tech is cool–therefore, KewlTek!
