Welcome to the About KewlTek Photography page! I’m Russell Robinson, and I’ve had a passion for photography since I was a kid. In the ’70’s and ’80’s, my parents let me snap shots with their Minolta Pocket Camera, Kodak Instamatic, and Polaroid instant cameras. In the 90’s I got myself a little Olympus Centurion film camera, in the 2000’s I shot digital with point-n-shoot cameras, and in the 20-teens, advanced to DSLR.
I’ve been shooting a while now, and covered many genres. I do research before a shoot, but hunting for info on the internet is tedious and time consuming for me. I made this site so I can jot down helpful info so I don’t have to repeat all that hunting and research again…
I hope you find my site useful. I’m always adding to it, so check back often for more content! If you’d like me to post about something, drop me a comment, or shoot me an email!
What Does “KewlTek” Mean?
I’ve been a computer guy, photographer, and media creator for decades, and I love tech. I just think tech is cool. “KewlTek” is just a fun way to say, “Cool Tech”.
Tech is cool–therefore, KewlTek!
